A retaining ring prevents the lens from accidental dislodgement when bumped or in rougher waters. The Micro Wide Angle Dome Lens is a “wet lens” and can be easily attached and removed underwater. The Micro Wide Angle Dome Lens increases the Micro 3.0 shooting angle by 43% to 143° (in air) and allows the user to get almost 3x closer to the subject. The lens fits all SeaLife Micro series cameras (Micro HD, HD+, Micro 2.0, Micro 3.0) and also works with the SeaLife ReefMaster RM-4K, extending the shooting angle of the tiny camera to a massive 196°. The lens has an effective focal length of 13,3mm film equivalent when used with the SeaLife Micro 3.0 and is waterproof to 60m. The dome lens is made of optical polycarbonate with a hard anti-scratch coating. The internal elements are fully multi-coated optical glass. The Micro Wide Angle Dome Lens design uses high-performance optics arranged in a 4-element/4-group array that delivers razor-sharp edge-to-edge sharpness.

The Micro Wide Angle Dome Lens for Micro Series and ReefMaster RM-4K underwater cameras increases the camera's field of view by nearly 50% and allows photographers to get three times closer to the subject. Fits all SeaLife Micro series and ReefMaster RM-4K camera models. The high-performance optical design of the 0.7x dome lens improves overall image quality and edge sharpness. For the SeaLife Micro 3.0, the lens angle is increased from 100° to 143° and the shooting distance is reduced from 15”/38cm to 5”/13cm. The SeaLife Micro Wide Angle Dome Lens (SL052) increases the camera's field of view by 43% and provides a 3x shorter shooting distance.
